Future Cuisine is a value added Greenshell mussel producer in New Zealand. Since 2000 we have supplied the domestic market and since 2004 the international markets with gourmet product as well as meeting the demands of the commodity mussel market in a range of territories. While we manage close to 6,000 tonne of mussels a year through our West Auckland based business, we are still very much a family-run operation, tracing our roots back to the fish shop our father started in 1980 at the top of “Chinaman’s Hill”, Grey Lynn, Auckland.

Effectively, we cover all aspects of every mussel our growers harvest out of the water. In terms of scale, we see ourselves as ‘right-sized’, in that we are big enough to have the infrastructure to meet a broad range of client requirements and small enough to be personally involved. We are nimble and we adapt quickly to the ongoing changes in our clients’ businesses, and the shifting nature of the industry as a whole.
